Precision Sound opened for business in 1985 as an audio tape
sales and duplication service with Dan Howton heading a sales
force of one, and Kendall Andrews overseeing production in his
basement. By 1990, Precision Sound had already outgrown its product
base to include studio supplies, graphics, printing, CD manufacturing,
audio/visual equipment sales and movie editing supplies and rentals.

Growing a Company...
In 1998, Precision Sound joined forces with Sonrise Audio and The
One-Off CD Shop, and in '99 welcomed Promedia Systems, Microtech
Video Systems, Multimedia Communication Inc. and Crown Video
Duplicators to a rapidly growing Family.

Include the rapid emergence of CD-ROM, DVD authoring and
replication, video conferencing technology, video editing,
duplication, distribution and fulfilment, A/V and sound equipment
rentals and sales and it's easy to see why the Precision Media Group
is entering the future with optimism.

An optimism born in clear vision, raised in an environment of
technological diversity and shared everyday by quality people
committed to delivering solutions to every client we are privileged
to serve.

Those early days seem a distant memory as the Precision Media Group
now employs over 70 full-time staff in 7 locations across the country
utilizing over 50,000 square feet for sales, custom media production
and the warehousing of over 3000 product options.

As many things have changed over the years, one thing has remained
constant and it's the goal to which all of us aspire: Precision
